OK, enough's enough.
It's April 15. The day we pay our taxes so our Representatives in Congress can pay themselves.
I like Gerry Connolly, but he's been in office since Jan. 5. There's only one update on his congressional website. I got this nice fancy, costly, un-green-friendly brochure in the mail the other day that talks about what he's done.
But why can't his website be updated daily? He's our representative in Congress. I want to know what he's doing and I have a right to know.
Is he a digital idiot and just doesn't care? Does he not want to share what he's doing in Congress? Why is this basic form of communication so challenging for him? He promised on The Kojo Njamdi Show two months ago that he'd update his website after I e-mailed the question in while he was live on air. He said, "it'll be updated by the end of the day."
Well, that wasn't true. It was a lie.
C'mon, Gerry. It's 2009. You're not a Republican luddite. You're a Democrat. We get the Web. I'm really not understanding why this is so hard?
