TIME TO UPDATE WHO IS ACTIVE ON THE BLOG LIST?

by: brian12

Fri Jan 08, 2010 at 00:53:42 AM EST

I'm not sure this calls for anything past a paragraph, but I have noticed that a lot of people have packed up their blog and called it quits. As much as the die-hardest political junkie/activist would like to think otherwise, the most often used cliche in politics is that "politics should be the part-time job of every citizen," and when that part-time job ends, people do something else, like get on with the business of living their lives.  That initiates Blog Rolls to go dormant or extinct, and I think if we are to follow any Teddy Goodsen's good blog advise on getting the party going, or anyone giving good blog advise, then it seems to me that should start with us on the internet, so that the publius can get informed opinions and not dead links. So, should we be doing that? Just a thought.

Post Your Debate Questions for Gubernatorial Candidates Here!

by: KathyinBlacksburg

Thu Apr 23, 2009 at 14:33:23 PM EDT

This diary is moved back up to remind you it is not too late to pose a question.  Please remember to include your city and state. Next Wednesday evening, April 29th, the blogs Huffington Post, Not Larry Sabato, and Fire Dog Lake join the Collegiate Times to co-host a Democratic Gubernatorial Debate in Blacksburg, VA.  The event begins at 7 PM at the Lyric Theatre, on College Avenue.

All three candidates will be there: Creigh Deeds, Terry McAuliffe, and Brian Moran.  As part of the interactive nature of the event, progressive bloggers are submitting questions ahead of time for possible inclusion in the debate.  What are your best questions?

Please use this thread to forward your questions for possible inclusion. And watch to see if your question gets used next Wednesday. Thanks for your help!

Noted from teacherken  please enter the city and state in which you live at the end of your comment.  And if you have already posted a comment, please respond to that comment with the requested information.   Thanks
