An Outbreak of Courage on Capitol Hill

This posting shares a title with an Adam Clymer posting at the Daily Beast.  For those who don't remember Clymer, he is the one-time NY Times reporter whom G W Bush called an asshole and Dick Cheney responded with "big time."

The article is on Virginia's own Tom Perriello.  The key quote:

"If the worst thing that happens to me is that I get to be part of the House for two years and part of the greatest democracy ever invented-I can live with that," Perriello says.
 And Perriello said that in response to a constituent who told the Congressman if he voted for the health care bill the constituent would "personally work to ensure Perriello's defeat next year."
