Advertisers Abandoning Fox's Beck

by: cycle12

( - promoted by KathyinBlacksburg)

Ladies and gentlemen, the outright abandonment by advertisers of talk show hosts like Fox's Glenn Beck - - is precisely how Rush Limbaugh and his ilk can be correctly handled.

Recently, Fox talk show host Glenn Beck called President Obama a racist, and now big name advertisers such as Walmart and Clorox want to have nothing to do with him or his show.

According to the news article available at the link above, here's how Beck's comments were first brought into the public arena:

cycle12 :: Advertisers Abandoning Fox's Beck
"He was actually on another Fox show July 28 when he referred to Obama as a racist with 'a deep-seated hatred for white people.' The network immediately distanced itself from Beck's statement, but Beck didn't. He used his radio show the next day to explain why he believed that. He would not comment for this article, spokesman Matthew Hiltzik said."

As a result of Beck's comments, the black political action group, "Color of Change", recently posted this information: and that resulted in advertisers abandoning sponsorship of Beck's show.

Please stay tuned, or not...

Fight Beck with his own worst enemy...

On the same subject
(advertisers pulling out of Beck's show) on another blog, one commenter had me in stitches when he said something bout the world coming to an end, when even Clorox -- devoted to making things white -- abandoned Beck (not a quote, a paraphrase)

Humor in the face of adversity...
Very good, "libra"; thanks!
