The Greek Key and the Roman Candle

by: libra

This is not much of a diary, per se; it's a notice of an outstanding article on healthcare around the world, in yesterday's Washington Post (Outlook section). And the title was just a bait to lure you into reading it; the only connection is "mythology" -- Greek, Roman and American. The article, as my husband said, should be required reading (with tests afterwards) for all Congresscritters. I'd add that (printed) copies of it ought to be handed to every townhall attendee; while some of the Congresscritters are hell-bent on deceiving their constituents, the article might answer their legitimate questions:

So far as I can tell
those people who rely on the Washington Times and/Fox News automatically reject anything from that liberal rag The Washington Post. Therefore, they will not read the article even if given it, or will, after scanning it, regard it as lies, nothing but administration propaganda from the Obama-loving Post. This was made very evident to me while in the line for Congressman Moran's town hall.

Facts are different for different people.
